Wild By Design
Wild by Design is the wildlife conservation initiative of the Society for Awareness Generation & Education or SAGE, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
Wild By Design addresses the issue of wildlife conservation by using design as a tool for conservation. Design uses a creative approach to problem solving, exploring alternative green solutions that are good for the planet and all its living creatures. It also focuses on exploring nature and wildlife from an artist's viewpoint, understanding how it enriches our lives with visual, aural and tactile experiences. This unique idiom helps develop a love for wildlife, and a desire to preserve such beauty for posterity. It gives conservation a new urgency, taking it beyond the domain of science and scientists and bringing it to the door of the common man.
